Hey There, I’m Adeline

My photography journey started in 2017. I borrowed a camera for fun to take photos with my friends and haven’t put it down since! I love photography because I am able to document special moments and create tangible memories for people to enjoy for generations. Often times I find myself reliving memories through photos. Moments pass in the blink of an eye and through photography we can freeze these moments to keep newborn toes, the final month of your first pregnant belly, or the way your toddler giggles when you tickle them, in photographs forever. These passing moments can be enjoyed by friends and family for generations to come which is part of what makes photography so special.

Where It all Started

I grew up in Valley Center, CA; a small town about an hour north of San Diego. Growing up my friends and I would spend our free time skateboarding, riding horses, going camping, and taking fishing trips to June Lake with my friend’s dad. Valley Center didn't have much for a teenage girl with no driver’s license to do but is full of stunning landscapes. My friends and I would borrow a DSLR and explore these landscapes while taking portraits of each other. This is when my love for photography blossomed!

cats!

I have two babies, Charlotte and Daye. I adopted Charlotte (aka Char Char) in December 2020. She was about 1 year old when I adopted her and is now 4. She is my first cat and my instant best friend. Char Char is my calm, easy going, and cautious girl.

Daye was adopted in November of 2023. He is a crazy kitten full of energy with lots to meow about. He is my brave, sweet, adventurous boy. These cats have my whole heart!

My Life Outside of Photography

My hobbies include sewing, reading, baking, hiking, camping, yoga, and listening to podcasts. Sewing is my current obsession. I bought myself a sewing machine on black friday last year.I have made most of my friends custom tote bags and am working on tons of projects for my newborn godson. Whenever I have time I love to go on road trips and explore National Parks. Exploring and being outdoors in nature brings me so much peace and joy.

My Photography Philosophy

Photography is about documenting real and raw emotions. My goal is never to get posed, cookie cutter images, it is to get to know who I am working with and document your story. Looking back at your photographs should pour in the emotions from the moment captured. Creating with you is the best part. Getting to know your story and turning that into art together brings joy and comfort knowing they will live on for generations to enjoy.
